Responsibilities

The Impact You’ll Be Making:

Account Technology Strategist –

As An Account Technology Strategist, You’ll Be Acting As Your Customer’s Virtual Chief Technology Officer, And Will Be Expected To

Utilize your knowledge of enterprise architecture and Microsoft cloud services (including the latest innovations and solutions) to create roadmaps to your customers’ desired future state.

Build strong relationships with Chief Technology Officers, Chief Information Officers, Chief Security Officers, other technical and business decision-makers, and the developer community as their trusted technology advisor.

Orchestrate activities across Microsoft and Partner resources to maximize business results, customer success, and satisfaction.

Demonstrate change management leadership skills by assisting customers with new business models, process and workflow changes, and employee impact assessments as they move towards the desired future state.

Drive long-term growth by focusing on sustainable usage of cloud solutions that align with customer objectives and business value.

Share your broad technical knowledge of the Microsoft platform, their competition, and the industry with customers by sharing customer and general IT landscape insights with your Microsoft colleagues.

Technical Specialist –

A Microsoft Technical Specialist’s main goal is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use their technology. You will work in a team, enabling the customers through digital transformation. Technical Specialists (TS) are expected to be able to both own and win the customer’s technical decisions, as well as find new opportunities through their contacts and engagements for salespeople to further pursue. Like a TS, you work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level, demonstrate and prove their solutions, and win the technical decision allowing the team to achieve/exceed sales targets in your assigned accounts. Being part of this team will allow you to maintain and develop your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based infrastructure technologies.

Cloud Solution Architect –

They are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Cloud Solution Architect to drive high priority customer initiatives on the Microsoft Azure Platform in collaboration with customers and the Microsoft field in the enterprise accounts segment of their business. This is a customer-facing role, owning the overall technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers.

Qualifications

Who They’re Looking for:

Account Technology Strategist –

3+ years’ experience in Business Consulting or Consultative Selling required.

Proven ability to learn quickly, adapt, and master new concepts and technologies to drive their adoption and usage.

Strong technical skills required, with enterprise architecture experience or certification.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with equally good listening skills are essential.

Experience In Project Management Preferred

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar information technology-related, or engineering discipline degree, or equivalent experience required. Master’s degree preferred.

Additional training or education in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred.

Technical Specialist –

Experience. 3+ years of related experience in technical pre-sales and/or technical consulting roles required.

Performer. A highly driven passionate person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations.

Growth Mindset. Experience and passion for learning (technical and professional skills); implementing practices from others; trying, failing and learning from successes and failures; sharing practices and knowledge for others’ benefit.

Collaborative. Able to work cohesively with customers, members of the Microsoft (or similar) sales, services, and marketing organizations and Microsoft (or similar) partners.

Excellent Communicator. Outstanding written & verbal communication, collaboration, organizational, presentation, and deep technical product demo skills.

Consultative Technical Selling and Challenger mindset. Validated experience in consultative technical selling approach, including bringing innovative ideas to customers’ problems and being customer-focused.

Executive Presence. Validated experience engaging with senior-level executives.

Education. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Certification in domain-specific technologies preferred.

Cloud Solution Architect –

Experience. 3+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications required.

Relationship Building. Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get a consensus on solutions/projects.

Problem Solving. Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies.

Collaboration and Communication. Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, Database administrators and Data Scientist).

Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.

Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud).

Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of cloud development platforms.

Partners. Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.

Education. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineer or related field preferred.

Travel: Travel is an integral part of these positions. You will be required to travel as is determined by the needs of their customers. This position may require travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time. Overnight travel may also be required.
