They are looking for an early-to-mid level Data Analyst who has the passion and capability to respond to business questions using people data, advanced analytics, and data science techniques and tools. You will play a meaningful role in the Compliance Analytics team to help shape the data analytics team and execute on key projects.

The Expertise You Have

• 2+ years of dedicated experience working on advanced analytics projects
• Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Operations Research, or other quantitative fields
• Strong analytic SQL expertise and experience working with large data volumes across multiple sources such as relational databases (Oracle, DB2), Hadoop distributions (Cloudera, Hortonworks), and MPP (Netezza)
• Demonstrable experience performing ETL/ELT on multiple sources of data using technologies such as Sqoop, Hive, Spark, and Informatica
• Experience with streaming data a plus
• Experience using Python, R, or similar language
• Proven track record of contributions to Agile projects involving large-scale databases, complex business infrastructure, and multi-functional teams

The Skills You Bring

• Outstanding verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
• Demonstrable experience using visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik, and familiarity with software packages for exploratory
• Applying domain expertise in financial services (ideally Broker/Dealer) to perform valuable analysis and/or data engineering a plus
