Are you an exceptional Data Analyst with a strong command of PowerBI? Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive business success? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a world-renowned Global Insurance firm.
My client is a leading Global Insurance firm with a presence in numerous countries, serving millions of customers worldwide. As they continue to expand their analytics capabilities, they are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join their Data team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and identify analytical opportunities.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI to visualise complex data sets.
- Analyse large volumes of insurance-related data to uncover valuable insights and trends.
- Work closely with stakeholders to present data-driven recommendations that support business decisions.
- Conduct data validation, ensure data accuracy, and troubleshoot any data-related issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analytics processes and methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on utilising PowerBI for data visualisation and analysis.
- Proficiency in data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and data manipulation using Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Lloyds insurance experience highly desirable.
- Knowledge of data warehouse design principles such as Kimball
- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and structures, cubes and ETL processes
