Hey, here’s your chance to spend your summer as a Spotify intern and become an integrated member of one of their teams. When the fall comes, this gig might turn into a permanent position, given that you’ve already graduated.

Their Roles Within Data & ML Engineering – London

Machine Learning

They are looking for Machine Learning Engineering Interns to help drive a data-driven culture across Spotify. You will apply machine learning methods to massive data sets to extend and enhance Spotify’s means of understanding and engaging users across various contexts and modalities. Build upon Spotify’s deep understanding of their content, users, and artists to develop rich analytics, engagement, and business applications.

Data Science/Analytics

They are looking for interns to join their Analytic teams. The mission is to turn terabytes of data into insights and get a deep understanding of the world of music and listeners. Together with them you will study user behaviour, evaluate strategic initiatives and experiment with new features. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music. You will perform analyses on large sets of data to extract actionable insights that will help drive decisions across the business. Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to team members and other teams within Spotify.

The Intern Gig

This isn’t just any internship! Their paid internship program will last for 12-13 weeks next summer starting in the middle of June, and you’ll get a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it’s like to be a Spotify employee.

For the Program they’re looking for enthusiastic students/recent graduates with a passion for audio and an ambition to go far, just like them. You should be at the end of your studies, graduating latest Summer 2021 or recently graduated from your studies. To be eligible for their internships you need to be based in the location of the internship, e.g. Sweden for a Stockholm based internship.

Make sure attach your CV and Cover letter in English and specify what Intern role you’re interested in, in the application form. They will then match you with the best Intern role based on your interest and skill-set.

The deadline to apply is December 1st, 2019 at 11:59 PM CET.. You can expect the following application timeline:

Late December, 2019 – Mid January, 2020: Application Review
Late January, 2020 – March, 2020: Interviews
February, 2020 – April, 2020: Offers given out
10 June, 2020: Intern program start
