Duties: Apply statistical and machine learning algorithmic frameworks across multiple personalization and recommendation applications for Wayfair Storefront. Identify impactful areas where predictive models can make big swings for the business and translate these frameworks into deployable products by working closely with stakeholders across multiple engineering teams big data systems, storefront and infrastructure engineering. Serve as consultative partner to the storefront, marketing product teams to help quantitatively frame the opportunities that can be solved with algorithmic frameworks. Work in complex data systems and wrangle data from multiple sources including sales, customer, and clickstream databases. Design innovative algorithms and machine learning models that help inform recommendation solutions across multiple customer touchpoints. Collaborate with Engineering team to help bring these models into production that satisfy specific SLA requirements. Explore and bring to production state-of-art algorithms in this field for the right customer problems. Deliver presentations to high level business stakeholders that help articulate the vision and strategy of data science and its value to the business.
Requirements: Requires a Master s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, Neuroscience, Operations Research or a directly related quantitative field plus three (3) years of experience in a corporate, start-up, or research environment. Experience must include:
