Purpose Of This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning to extract actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, identify data sources, perform advanced analytics, and develop predictive models to optimize processes and enhance performance.
What You Will Do
- Data Analysis: Explore and analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and generate actionable insights that contribute to business growth and optimization.
- Statistical Modeling: Design and develop statistical models to solve business problems, including regression analysis, time series forecasting, clustering, classification, and recommendation systems.
- Machine Learning: Apply machine learning techniques, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing, and deep learning, to build predictive models and automate decision-making processes.
- Feature Engineering: Identify and engineer relevant features from diverse data sources to enhance the predictive power and accuracy of models.
- Data Visualization: Communicate findings and insights effectively through data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, research & development, and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements, define problem statements, and develop innovative solutions using data science methodologies to expand the business footprint of the organization.
- Model Deployment and Monitoring: Implement and deploy data science models into production environments and monitor their performance to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and related fields, and proactively apply new methodologies and techniques to enhance the organization’s data science capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in the Healthcare and/or Revenue Cycle Management domain is desirable but not required.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, utilizing data analysis and statistical modeling techniques to derive actionable insights.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and model development.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
