KEY OUTCOMES:
Supports the Panel Quality teams in developing and improving the ongoing data quality management activity, proactively identifies potential issues, challenges and solutions.
- Formulates a point of view and provides sound recommendations for the best course of action when faced with either internal or external issues
- Follows through on action plans and discussions
- Communicates efficiently, develops and maintains strong relationships across teams
· Contributes to methodology, process, and measurement definitions
- Acquires the knowledge of databases, data mining and reporting tools, using standard and customised software packages
- Inputs in methodology discussions involving statistical and advanced analytics techniques
- Participates in relevant training sessions and identifies the technical training requirements for the wider team
- Mentors and coaches team members in their technical skills and new methodology implementation
- Regularly makes a difference by developing and implementing initiatives to improve data quality and/or cost/time efficiencies
SPECIALIST SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE:
· Experience analysing high volume disaggregated data is essential
· Experience working as an analyst or data scientist in a commercial or academic capacity
· Knowledge of programming and data querying languages (SQL, Python,R , SAS)
· Educational or professional background in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technologies other adjacent fields of science
· Experience in using Machine Learning / AI desirable
· Ability to demonstrate a logical thought process
· Strong relationship building, teamwork, and communication skills
· Follow-through and result-orientated approach
· Strong attention to detail and analysis skills
· Drive to achieve high quality of deliverables
· Strong technical aptitude is essential
· Ability to work independently
