You’ll be joining their Seismic Interpretation Research Team, with a focus on interpreting deep learning models applied to seismic data.
What’s the role?
As a Data Scientist, you’ll be designing and analysing deep learning networks to make them more efficient and better performing.
You’ll be accountable for delivering increased precision, recall and F1 scores for all HCSE projects. You will also be actively leading on small projects, as well as supporting other leaders with the technical aspects of their projects.
They expect you’ll be the type of person who is curious and relishes creative problem solving and the chance to work with large and challenging data sets. You will also be a good team player who uses your natural people skills to nurture relationships with stakeholders at a wide range of levels, collaborating with the international team and business customers globally.
Requirements
What they need from you
They expect you to have an MSC, or preferably a PhD, in a STEM subject. Some relevant professional experience and teaching experience will also be an advantage. Beyond that, they’re keen to hear from men and women with as much of the following on your CV
- Deep Learning Expert
- Ability to interpret internal behavior of deep learning networks
- Strong experience in signal processing
- Expertise in adversarial machine learning and deep generative models
- Some previous experience in an AI-related field is preferred
- Strong programming skills in Python, C and Matlab
- Strong capabilities in ML libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, and others
- A strong publication record
