Description
They’re looking for a motivated and agile data scientist with excellent analytics, software development, problem-solving and communication skills. You will need to analyze high dimensional data to derive meaningful insights. You will also be developing software and analytics infrastructure for streamlined analysis of large datasets. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in statistical analysis and the ability to apply it to real-world problems to draw sound conclusions. You must also have a strong software engineering background and be able to write a production-level code. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to provide meaningful insights to teams across Apple on a broad range of products.
Education & Experience
M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent
Additional RequirementsPreferred Skills And Experience
- Experience with statistical packages in R, Python or MATLAB
- Experience with programming languages like C, C++ or Java
- Proficiency in MapReduce technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Pig
