Join us to advance DevOps in the embedded space! We are seeking an intern for our In The Home products’ DevOps team to help build up the architecture, implementation, security, and scalability of our continuous integration / continuous deployment platform. The ideal candidate is interested in using cutting edge, open source technologies to build and maintain our platform, which is used to build, test and manage the software for Bose’s Wi-Fi speakers and soundbars. We want the quality of our embedded software DevOps infrastructure to match our world-class products.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Work within a new DevOps team to deliver tools to enable software engineering teams to rapidly deliver products to market
• Explore innovative solutions built on key technologies like GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory, Conan, Npm, Kubernetes and Docker
• Develop scripts and employ plugins to connect pieces of the pipeline
• Document the work you do to allow developers to use these tools effectively
• Stay up to date on relevant technologies, plug into user groups, and ensure we are using the best techniques and tools

Qualifications

• Expected BS or MS degree in computer science or equivalent

Experience

• Demonstrated software development competency in at least one college team software development project
• Internship or co-op session with a software development organization
• Familiarity with Python, Bash scripting, automation, Grafana, Prometheus, Sonarqube, C++check are helpful
