The Employee Data Senior Analyst is a member of the Global Operations Centre (GOC) Workday team and provides operational support to employees across all regions, acts as a trusted partner for the business ensuring an amazing employee experience. This role reports to the Supervisor GOC WD and is critical to ensuring the success of the employees at Salesforce. Candidate shall have strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail, outstanding time management and communication skills, dedication to outstanding customer support and the ability to form relationships at every level of the organization. This person must be comfortable dealing with highly sensitive and confidential matters. Their ideal candidate enjoys working in a dynamic and high-growth environment and has experience dealing with employee data in HR Operations role.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Employee Data Senior Analyst include but are not limited to the following:
- Data Management for all forms of Employee data
- Assist in the verification and maintenance of position attributes in Workday, create/edit position restrictions on behalf of Managers as per the case request.
- Oversee manager self service (MSS) transactions and action them as per the set guidelines
- Process employee data changes using Workday transactions including promotions, transfers, location changes, pay adjustments, etc.
- Manage the global work authorization (GWA) program including auditing for accuracy and compliance for New Hires and International transfers
- Assist with the involuntary and voluntary separation process
- Create and issue offer letters to employees for Workday Change Job and other Business processes as per the country specific requirements in each region
- Identify and close knowledge gaps by creating, updating and improving knowledge articles to keep information relevant for Employees and Managers
- Participate in system testing for software updates and business process changes
- Own data integrity of all employee change transactions by following the outlined peer review/audit process
- Support standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics
- Provide superior customer service to employees using the customer service portal by resolving Tier 2 queries
- Liaise effectively and collaboratively with partners and other ES (HR) teams to resolve issues
- Maintain appropriate level of process, program and policy knowledge in order to assist Employees and Managers
- Conduct data audits of employee data in Workday
- Provide back-up support to other team members on daily tasks
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements by completing work accurately and timely
- Other duties and project work as the need arises
Required Skills/experience
- Master/Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in an HR Data Management role,
- Previous experience with Workday HRIS is required
- Experience with Position Management in Workday
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines
- Must have solid understanding of data integrity and data privacy requirements
- Proven problem-solving skills with a passion for technology, process improvement and continuous learning
- Proficiency in employee or customer experience through written and verbal communications
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Drives results and is solutions-oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of job responsibilities
- Works effectively in a team environment
