Prevail Partners delivers high quality intelligence, research and consultancy services to clients ranging from governments and multinational corporations to non-governmental organisations.

The overseas intelligence analyst role is a challenging and varied one. You will be tasked with ensuring effective delivery of Prevails bespoke technical capability within a small intelligence team based in the Middle East formed of highly capable intelligence analysts and led by an intelligence manager. You will provide first line analysis of data provided by Prevail to the customer and continuously capture the evolving needs of the customer, feeding insight back into the wider Prevail technical ecosystem. You will be working directly to the Senior Analyst and will work with cutting edge intelligence platforms and open-source media analysis tools. The role requires you to be located in the Middle East for a 12-month period, on rotation with other analysts, with the opportunity to travel during downtime.As an intelligence analyst, you will:

• Collate, evaluate and assess intelligence from a variety of different intelligence sources
• Provide live reporting and updates to help inform operational decisions
• Produce formal reports or presentations, to include illustrative graphics, with attention to detail
• Work effectively under pressure, demonstrating motivation, initiative and focus
• Have good knowledge of intelligence analysis methods and techniques
• Be adept in using link analysis and information database tools
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and work with a range of technical and information technology applications, including some specialised data collection, analysis and presentation tools
• Possess an understanding of information management and data integrity issues

Requirements

To achieve this….Essential Criteria:

• Formal intelligence analysis training with at least 5 years military intelligence or equivalent experience
• Experienced in open-source research and intelligence gathering techniques
• Experience in creating Intelligence Products using MS Office applications
• Data Analysis understanding and use of MS Excel

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience of project management
• Experience of client engagement
• Understand SQL/Snowflake database analysis
• Able to deliver visual analytical products using PowerBI or Tableau
• Understanding of Signals Intelligence
• Bachelors degree is desirable
