One of MBN’s key clients are looking to bring in a Lead Data Analyst who will join the Business Intelligence team. This team help the business understand the impact of incidents that affect their customers.

What you will be doing…

• Carrying out analysis on multiple data sets using SQL, SAS, Microstrategy, Excel -identifying pockets of customers impacted by different events
• Coaching and developing junior members of the team, this may include line management responsibilities
• Support the delivery of customer rectifications by managing stakeholder relationships
• Plan and prioritise team workload, ensuring internal targets for quality and performance are met

What experience they require…

• Demonstrate a sound technical understanding of BI tools, ideally Microstrategy however we will also consider Power BI or Tableau
• SAS or SQL experience is essential
• Exposure to either R or Python is needed as you will improve the identification of customer impacting events through data science techniques
• Prior experience mentoring and leading small/medium sized teams
