TeamSnap has a wealth of data today — spanning mobile and web experiences, sales conversion, payments, advertising, marketing, and more. We need an experienced data analyst who can help the Brands Solutions Team organize and maintain that data, as well as translate it into action through analyses, modeling, and data visualization dashboards. We expect this individual to be a true partner to our senior business leaders. Thus, critical thinking and strong communication skills will be essential for success. This role will report to our Senior Director of Revenue Operations on the Brand Solutions team.

What You’ll do

  • Create reporting and dashboards
  • Partner with product to evaluate and monitor advertising product changes and performance for further enhancements to marketing campaign ROI
  • Deliver performance insights to help influence the prioritization and advertising product roadmap
  • Analyze advertising data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform advertising strategy
  • Monitor key risk indicators and provide insights for optimizing performance and revenue
  • Conducting financial analysis to identify revenue growth opportunities, analyze pricing strategies, and develop recommendations to improve financial performance
  • Delivering insights and reports to marketing, including campaign performance, case studies, audience insights, and other key metrics that could be used for customer acquisition or thought leadership content
  • Survey design, analysis, and management for optimizing in house brand client surveys
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in advertising analytics and measurement
  • Collaborate and confer with peers, managers and leadership to resolve issues and achieve goals. Stakeholders include data, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Operations and Sales

What Will Set You Up for Success

  • 5+ years of work experience in a data analytics role
  • Expert SQL knowledge: experience with advanced querying and data transformation
  • Experience with dbt or similar tool for data transformation
  • A history of wrangling imperfect data sets
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Mode, Looker, or other business intelligence platforms
  • A background of working with BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, or other warehousing solutions (we are a GCP shop)
  • Experience creating data visualizations and dashboards
  • General knowledge around the data capabilities provided by the Google Cloud Platform
  • Prior experience analyzing product, marketing, and customer data with some experience doing statistical analysis and a basic understanding of statistical modeling concepts
  • Prior experience working at a publisher, preferably mobile experience
  • Prior experience in Advertising or consumer technology company
  • The ability to distill raw data and quantitative analysis into business information and insightProactive approach to providing insight that results from intellectual curiosity and an understanding of our customers, products, and strategic objectives

Bonus Points for:

  • Experience working in GAM or comparable ad server.
  • Integrating insights from ad server with developing insights from a data warehouse.
  • Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and programmatic advertising platforms
  • A passion for data storytelling

We’re committed to equitable compensation for all TeamSnappers. The minimum starting point for this role is $115,000, inclusive of base and bonus, with comp updated based on multiple factors. Our comp is highly competitive in our space and we adjust overall comp based on relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
