Senior Machine Learning Engineer – NLP 934 views

ZoomInfo is looking for a passionate and innovative Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) systems. Key Responsibilities

Architect, implement and maintain a scalable NLP engine tailored to identify application-specific relationships among entities from a wide variety of structured and unstructured data sources producing high-quality data for their customers
Analyze and understand current state of NLP techniques both internal and external to ZoomInfo
Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to build and deliver high quality solutions
Collaborate with data collection teams to specify criteria for the creation of train/test datasets
Work independently and collaborate with others on the Data Science team to solve challenging business and product problems

Basic Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Engineering, Machine Learning, Math, Statistics or a related field
5+ years’ experience developing production quality data pipelines and machine learning models
Fluent in Python, R or similar scripting language
Experience using common NLP resources such as ELMo, GloVe, spaCy, Apache OpenNLP, Stanford CoreNLP, NLTK, WordNet, etc.
Experience with linguistic concepts such as syntax and dependency parsing, semantics, ontologies, dictionary management, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years’ experience building production NLP systems
Post-graduate specialization in natural language processing
Fluency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing architectural concepts and algorithms
Excellent critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to present your beliefs clearly and compellingly in both verbal and written form
Ability to relate to and solve business problems through machine learning, data mining and statistical algorithms
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
