Role

As Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for all aspects of software testing and tools development for the embedded software development team within the Automotive Systems Division. You will work cross-functionally with teams developing reliable, adaptable and scalable test solutions and automated testing at white-box and black box levels to deliver top quality software that delights our customers.

Required Skills / Experience

• 8+ years of software test/development experience
• Demonstrated ability to:
  • Prepare and create test plans, test cases for software based on functional documentation and application
  • Develop new testing techniques/methods; provide process improvement recommendations
  • Execute test cases, find and document issues
  • Develop test data, perform test data analysis, and prepare reports of test results

• Adapt/Develop test frameworks
• Experience in Python and/or PERL programming
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming

• Experience in embedded development and/or unit testing embedded products
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Experience in signal processing development or test
• Experience with Matlab, Simulink
• Experience with CMMI methodology
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Good organizational skills (time management and planning) and attention to details
