They are currently seeking an experienced and ambitious SEO Data Scientist to help drive their SEO strategy, grow organic traffic and acquisition through optimization, and measure engagement and conversion for Apple TV+, App Store, Apple Music and other services.

Key Qualifications
4+ years of demonstrated ability in a data scientist or data analyst role, preferably for a digital media, MarTech, digital subscription business, or technology business.
Strong proficiency with SQL, Python or R, and Google Analytics.
2+ years applied experience in building sophisticated datasets that enable data science and BI. Experience working with structured and unstructured data stored in distributed files systems.
Solid experience with sitemap analysis and creation, SEO optimization and A/B test experimentation.
Experience with standard marketing data science analysis to include attribution and organic referral tracking.
Curious business mentality with an ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise takeaways that drive action.
Description
Investigate large-scale data to uncover trends and identify key insights that will propel the SEO strategy.
Perform website traffic analysis for all sources (e.g., paid, social, direct and search) and keyword ranking to define optimization recommendations.
Build datasets and automated dashboards to monitor web traffic and performance metrics.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and develop insights into organic search impact on acquisition and awareness for Apple TV+, App Store and other services.
Help design marketing experiments along the customer journey with the goal of optimizing site engagement and reducing friction.
Build a suite of reports to regularly perform website SEO performance audits.
Partner with business and engineering to define data collection, reporting requirements, metrics, and aggregates for analysis, ETLs, reporting, experimentation and machine learning.
Collaborate with business, marketing, product and executive teams to generate regular presentations for partners and executives.
Partner with other Apple organizations on data gathering, data governance, voicing support for key performance indicators and democratizing data.
Education & Experience
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics or related field
Masters in a related field preferred
